We would like to take this opportunity to share a little of our heritage with you.  Carl and Sophia were united in marriage in 1893 and to this union came two daughters and eight sons.  The two eldest sons Carl and Ed helped their father (Carl) build this beautiful farmstead in 1920 and 1921, Carl and Verna lived here from 1921 to 1928.  The innkeepers grandfather (Ivan) was born here in 1922.  In 1928 Ed and Ressie moved here and made it their life long home. 

Innkeeper Lacey Borcherding would like to welcome you to join her in reliving the past.  You may enjoy a stroll around the 2.72 acres listening to the sounds of nature or take a tour of the old barn that was crafted five generations ago by a man who had a dream of giving his children a home to live in. Sit in the gazebo and enjoy a fresh cold glass of lemonade while you admire the flowers or you may want to relax on your private balcony in your room.  There are many attractions to visit in the surrounding area and we hope that you will take the time to stop and join us for a relaxing weekend.  Hope to see you soon!
